An embedded partnership with Climate Revolution NJ
- A statewide, youth-led climate group.
- Their list, mail, and daily tools run on a platform they own.
- I am their technical lead.
Where they started
- Climate Revolution NJ is a statewide 501(c)(4), youth-led and volunteer-run.
- Supporter data sat in a rented organizing tool.
- Files, mail, and the rest of the work lived in other tools.
- None of it was theirs.
The breaking point
- The organizing platform cut off email to their own supporters.
- We had already been copying the full list onto their instance, so they lost a vendor that day, not the list.
- Mass email was back on their domain within days.
What they run now
- Member CRM and directory, events, email, SMS, team boards, action pages, a bill tracker, and a news monitor.
- One platform, in daily use, on infrastructure that stays with them.
The embedded part
- I sit on their leadership as technical lead.
- When priorities change, the platform changes with them in days, because I am in the room where that decision is made.
Where they are now
The list is theirs
Tens of thousands of supporters on infrastructure that stays with them.
Email came back in days
Mass email restored on their domain after the old tool cut them off.
One platform
Replaced a patchwork of rented tools.
In daily use
In production since launch.
A roadmap they own
Technical direction sits inside the organization, on their budget.
This is Embedded, in one organization.
- A private platform, and me in the work.
- If that is the relationship you need, start a conversation.
